BottosCon Spring 2025

New this year: A spring mini-convention

WHEN: June 13-15, 2025

WHERE: Royal City Curling Club, 75 East  6th Avenue, New Westminster, BC V3L 4G6

Eighteen years ago, a local tradition and a community was born when 32 like minded people came together for a weekend of cameraderie and boardgaming. 

As a result of local gamers cancelling plans to attend events south of the border, I was asked by a group of gamers to create a 2nd Bottoscon event so we coulkd still enjoy our hobby while at the same time supporting a Canadian business. Thus Bottoscon Spring was born. 

Come be part of a new tradition and help build our community. Please join us at the Royal City Curling Club, in The Royal city of New Westminster, B.C. for 3 days of gaming. 

Food and beverage services will be available on site. Stay tuned for exact details. 

All are welcome: Old, Young, Families, Couples, Americans, Canadians.

Due to space restrictions, attendance will be capped at 80. 

We need 40 people for this to be a go. 

Our focus will be on gaming, not structure. 

BottosCon Spring is an opportunity to play some great games, whether they be War, Euro, RPG, or Miniatures and make some new friends.  Due to the successful introduction last year at the main BottosCon convention, Role Playing Games will continue to be offered on tables in a well-suited area away from the hubbub of the main room.

Unlike the main convention which is primarily appointment-based, BottosCon Spring will default to an open, drop in gaming model with first-come-first-serve in-person table claiming.  If you wish to reserve a specific table (e.g. for an RPG or large format game) please contact Rob Bottos directly (see below)

Through our registration process we take up a collection for the Tri City Share Society Foodbank.  To date we have raised just over $3000 since we began collecting donations in 2018. BottosCon will always be a convention with a social conscience.
